April has over 22 years of experience as an Attorney, Entrepreneur, and Manufacturer. She understands first hand the challenges and rewards of being an entrepreneur. She owns two retail bakeries, DC Sweet Potato Cake and Baked In Baltimore. In addition, she owns Food Opportunity, a manufacturer of baked goods.
